As of today you’ve learned 17 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1435 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Your 17th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #84

    دِيْن

    Transliteration: Deen

    Meaning: way of life/religion

    Meaning in Malay: cara hidup/agama

Frequency in the Quran: 92 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 4 (1:4)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah An-Nasr, Verse 2 (110:2)

Today’s HFW of The Quran means “way of life/religion”.

Islaam is the best gift from Allah s.w.t. to us, it is a gift in  this world to the next, across time, across geographical boundaries and across generation.

Today’s HFW is a gift, when we know how to use it, it will give us happiness in this world, and also in the next. Our beloved Prophet s.a.w. said: Whoever Allah wants goodness FOR him, Allah will make him understand THE way of life, (religion). So start planning to understand religion by understanding the Quran and Sunnah.

Today’s word is (دِيْن) which means “way of life/religion”. By understanding religion we understand Allah’s intent for us, by alligning to HIS intent, we will achieve our objective in this world and in the next.

Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 132 (2:132), is a good reminder. All prophets and messenger remind their people and nation to always hold strong the religion of Allah! Allah says:

“And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you THIS RELIGION, so do not die except while you are Muslims.”

    2_132

Islaam is the religion chose by Allah for us, because it is the best, for this world and the next! By ensuring that we understand the religion we are ensuring ourselves of happiness in this world and the next!

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #85: ذُو

High Frequency Word of The Quran #85: ذُو

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 15 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (مَلَك). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 90 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 16 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1343 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is means “possessor of”.

Your 15th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #85

    ذُوْ

    Transliteration: dZu

    Meaning:  possessor of

Meaning in Malay: pemilik / yang mempunyai

Frequency in the Quran: 90 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 83 (2:83)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Masadd, Verse 4 (111:3)

As mu’minin, faithful believers, we believe that Allah s.w.t. is the prossessor of all which is good and wholesome. Living in this mortal life, we too possess, but what we possess can be good, and can be otherwise.

Today’s HFW is interesting. It’s amazing in Arabic how one syllable is equal to a word with three syllable in english. This can be attributed to the mu’jizah or miracle of the Quranic Language.

Today’s word is (ْذُو)  which means possessor of. What we possess can be good and can be bad, depending on the context, what is certain is that in this world whatever we possess is not eternal.

Allah s.w.t. possesses all goodness and what HE possess is eternal, once we understand the value of this, we will program ourselves to think, work, and live for that is for that which is good, and that which is eternal. And that means to think, work and live for ALLAH. A statement that we always utter in the beginning of our prayer.

To realize that we need wisdom, and the wisdom that we need is already in the Quran, it’s up to us to accept it from Allah or not, may Allah s.w.t. shower us with wisdom and guide us with that which good and eternal.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 105 (2:105), Allah says:

” Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. “

    2_105

It is given, for us to possess all goodness that is eternal, we need to improve our relationship and get closer to HE the possessor of all that is good and eternal after, and to be able to achieve that is GREATNESS IN SUCCESS!

High Frequency Word of The Quran #86: مَلَك

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 14 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (مَال). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 88 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 15 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1253 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is special it means”angel“.

Your 14th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #86

    مَلَك

    Transliteration: Malak

    Meaning:  Angel

    Meaning in Malay: Malaikat

Frequency in the Quran: 88 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 2 (2:30)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Qadr, Verse 4 (97:4)

Angels are creation of Allah s.w.t., Allah created them from Nuur (light), they are special because they will always obey Allah s.w.t. While some humans are blinded by their desires and ingratittude, others are even higher in the eyes of Allah s.w.t than the angels, like messengers, prophets and awliya’. These people despite having nafs or desire, they are in control of it rather than it controlling them, they are able to do this because they are conscious of the presence of Allah s.w.t and cherish HIS divine magnificent presence!

While yesterday’s HFW talks about model/example; Today’s HFW talks about angels. Angels are everywhere, and they will never disobey Allah s.w.t. they obey HIM everytime and anywhere they are. Their numbers are soo many, we do not know the numbers, what we know is that their job is to obey Allah and fulfill His order. Gibrail a.s. sends revelation to Allah’s prophets and messengers, Izrail takes the life, Ridhwan is the angel of Heaven, Malik, guards hellfire… and there are many more..

Today’s word is (مَلَك)  which means angel. (مَلاَئِكَة) is the plural form, means, angels. Angels look after us. Our property, our business, our children and our family. As we get ourselves closer to Allah s.w.t. we can feel their presence and the feeling of calmness and harmony shall envelop us.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 34 (2:34), Allah says:

    2_34

” And [mention] when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam”; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. “

Angels are real, they exist in our dimension and in the hereafter,  when we take our place as khalifah, they will facilitate, our mission in this world and celebrate with us  our victory in here after!

Do you want to know which verse in the Quran that says this?

This verse also talks about the process of how to be the khalifah!

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #87: مَثَل

High Frequency Word of The Quran #87: مَثَل

    hfwslides updated2

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 13 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (مَال). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 87 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 14 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1165 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran means “example/model/parable”.

To be successful, everyone needs a working model for success, we need financial model to be financially successful, we need a business model to be successful in business, we need a model for everything so that we can follow and model after it. For us, Rasulullah s.a.w. is the Best Model of all time, and our First Life Coach!

While last HFW talks about wealth/property; Today’s HFW talks about model, there’s a lot of model and examples in the Quran, that we can observe, follow or model after, so that we can lead our lives to jannah. There are also models we need to run away from to protect ourselves from the wrath of Allah.

Today’s word is (مَثَل)  which means example/model. Models are like metaphors, they serve as hidayah for us and light our path towards real success.

Your 13th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #87

    مَثَل

    Transliteration: Masal

    Meaning:  Example/Model

    Meaning in Malay: Contoh/Perumpamaan

Frequency in the Quran: 87 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 2 (2:17)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Insan, Verse 28 (76:28)

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 261 (2:261), Allah says:

” The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing. “

    2_261 (1)

Models and examples are enlightenment from Allah when we come across in the Quran we need to ponder and try to apply the model in our Life. Rasulullah s.a.w. is also  a great model to follow. By following him financially, spiritually, emotionally, we will be successful in this life and hereafter insyaAllah!

In the verse above Allah s.w.t. provide for us a model, also an example, if we follow this model/we will get the same result. The model/example is that when we spend in the path of Allah s.w.t., this action is like planting one seed that in the end will multiply to 700 seeds.

All of us spend, we spend money, we spend time, we spend our skills, and expertise, what ever transaction we do we are spending the difference is in the intention. If our intention is to please Allah s.w.t. then what that means is that we have place ourselves in the correct position in the eyes of Allah s.w.t. and that is as His servant. At the same time what that means is that we are acknowledging Allah s.w.t. as our One True Master, because Allah s.w.t. is a gracious and noble Master, He will always multiply our effort and 700 is the least and there is not limit to the benevolent of Allah s.w.t.

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #88: مَال

High Frequency Word of The Quran #88: مَال

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 12 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (وَلِي). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 86 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 13 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1078 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran means “wealth/property”. Wealth and property is a blessing from Allah s.w.t and at the same time it’s a test from Him. Wealth/Property is a test for those who have it and for those who don’t. For those who have it, their test is syukur, their test to be among those who remain constantly grateful. For those who don’t have it , their test is sabr, their test is to be among those who remain steadfast and patient. And remember, “being patient doesn’t mean how long you can wait, but how well you behave while waiting.”

While last HFW talks about protector; Allah is the best and only protector, today’s HFW is something that we really need Allah’s protection. Allah is the best protector FOR our wealth/property and HE is also the best protector AGAINST it, and FROM misusing it. and on the contrary Wealth and property cannot protect us from Allah’s wrath, so we have to be smart, and use it to gain Allah’s blessings. What this imply is that the true relationship that we have and we must look after must be with Allah s.w.t., the Creator, and not material wealth/property which are His creations.

Today’s word is (مال)  which means wealth/property. Allah s.w.t. bless some of us with wealth and property as a test. Wealth and property in the hands of khalifah is ni’mah, because he knows how to spend it the path pleased by Allah, wealth and property become as means to please Allah and not the ultimate objective. The ultimate objective remains to attain the pleasure of Allah s.w.t. Everyone should seek how to manage his wealth and property wisely, so that it will facilitate him attaining Allah’s love in this world and here after. Wealth in the hands of transgressors cannot protect them from the wrath of Allah, please read surah al-masad, and take the lesson in it.

Your 12th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #88

    مَال

    Transliteration: Maal

    Meaning:  Wealth/Property

    Meaning in Malay: Harta

Frequency in the Quran: 86 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 2 (2:155)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Masad, Verse 2 (111:2)

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 155 (2:155), Allah says:

“And we will most certainly test you with some fear, hunger, and lost of property and lives and fruit, and give glad tidings to those who are patient!”

    2_155 (1)

In the verse the word used is “amwaal” the plural form of “maal”. In comparison with “maal”, “amwaal” is used more frequently in the Quran, both means wealth/property, the only thing is that “amwaal” is plural while “maal” is singular. Wealth / property are test from Allah s.w.t. it can make us closer to HIM, or invite HIS wrath, by spending in HIS path we are getting ourselves closer to HIM. Sabr and Syukur is the way to pass the test, for those who remain sabr, Allah s.w.t. is constantly with them as the remain sabr, for those remain in constant state of Syukur, Allah increase His bounty and blessings for them!
