Category: Daily Positivity Tips From A Verse From Al-Quran

These articles are written with the purpose of spreading positivity to elevate the spiritual well-being of humanity by sharing one verse from Al-Quran daily.

  • Give Yourself Time

Tip of the day on Being More Positive with a verse form Al-Quran:

    Day 5: Give Yourself Time

Allah s.w.t. says in Surah Al-Isra’, verse 11:

and man is ever hasty. (11)
    Surah 17:11.

While we work hard on our job to complete our tasks and make a living, it’s important to note that this life is not only for working. This life is for LIVING.

Allah s.w.t. has already blessed us with this life, so we need to live it. We can’t really live it and enjoy it if we rush it. And just work.

Learn to give ourselves time. Time to talk, time to eat, time to play, time to be happy and to appreciate the joy Allah bless us with.

The tip is to tell yourself: “I allow myself to be in this moment.”

I’m allowing myself to write less today so we both can enjoy more of this life?.

    Enjoy The Day!

  • Celebrate Your Success Of The Day

Tip of the day on Being More Positive with a verse form Al-Quran:

Day 4: Celebrate Your Success Of The Day

Allah s.w.t. says in Surah Ad-Dhuha, verse 11:

But as for the favor (blessings/ni’mah) of your Lord, report (share it/celebrate with others) [it]. (11)
    Surah 93:11.

One of the important skills that I’ve come to learn as I build my profession and develop my life is: “WHAT YOU FOCUS ON EXPANDS”. It’s very necessary for you to know what to focus on. Are you focusing on negativity or are you focusing on positivity. Knowing this is very important because it teaches us to know the difference between THINKING for solution or WORRYING indefinitely.

The verse above teaches us to talk about Allah’s blessings and share it with others. With the verse above Allah s.w.t. is guiding us to be more positive! And I’m sure you are familliar with the surah. But the guidance from this surah must be actively practiced in our life in order for us to see the results.

According to sports psychologist Jim Fannin, the last 30 minutes of every waking day are recorded and replyaed that night by our subconscious minds 15 to 17 times. This replay occurs five times more often than any other thought at any other time. Thus, it’s important to go to bed thinking positive thoughts. If you go to bed thinking and feeling like a champion, you’ll wake up thinking and feeling like a champion-optimistic and ready to win.

Today, as you end the day and go to bed, don’t just celebrate because it’s the end of the day, or it’s the end of the week, or it’s your payday. Celebrate your success of the day, identify the one great thing about your day-the one great convesation, accomplishment, or win that you are most proud of. Or identify the one person you helped most today or the one thing that made you smile. Focus on your success and you’ll look forward to creating more success tomorrow.

I encourage you to do it with your children if you are a parent, or with you siblings if you have one. Whoever you are, I encourage you to focus on your success and acknowledge the blessings of Allah on you and thank Him for His blessings.

Have a a great and awesome day!

  • Make The Day Brighter With More Smiles And Laughter

Tip of the day on Being More Positive with a verse form Al-Quran:

Day 3: Make The Day Brighter With More Smiles And Laughter

Allah s.w.t. says in Surah Yunus, verse 58:

Say, “In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that, let them rejoice! (be happy!); it is better than what they accumulate.” (58)
    Surah 10:58.

I still remember the day I heard this verse when I was still a student at Al-Azhar in Egypt. When the lecturer shared this verse it changed my whole world. It taught me to be happy! I finally have the answer to the question: “Does Allah wants us to be happy?” and the answer is: “Of Course! He even commanded it in the verse above! Of course Allah wants us to be happy!”

And Rasullah s.a.w. taught us that giving smile to others is an act of charity! This indicates that Rasullah s.a.w. taught us not only to be happy with ourselves but also wants us to spread happiness and positivity. Be that agent of positivity and happiness that you can be to yourself and towards others.

They say that children laugh about 400 times a day, while adult laugh only about 25 times. Perhaps we need to be more like children and smile and laugh more, especially if we have them around us at home, at work, or at school. Research shows that smiling gives us the following benefits:

    1. produces more serotonin in your brain (makes you more positive)
    2. and laughter reduces stress,
    3. increases your immune system,
    4. and causes your body to release “feel good” endorphins.

Today I want to encourage you to find enough humor in your life to make you laugh and smile at least for 10-minutes.

Have a brighter and more wonderful day!

  • A Day Of Gratitude

Tip of the day on Being More Positive with a verse form Al-Quran:

Day 2: A Day Of Gratitude

Allah s.w.t. says in Surah An-Nahl, verse 18:

“And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (18)”
    Surah 16:18

A number of studies show that grateful people tend to be more optimistic, which improves immune function, heart health, and happiness levels, according to Robert Emmons, a gratitude expert and professor of psychology at the University of California-Davis. To simplify, being thankful is good medicine and necessary for a positive life.

Today, as you live, work, communicate and do everything else, TURN OFF negative news and, throughout the day, indentify all the things you are grateful for. To help you do this, you may want to implement the “Alhamdulillah, I get to” instead of “I have to” strategy, example: “Alhamdulillah! I get to go to work”, rather than “I have to go to work”.

You may also want to create a gratitude journal, on paper or using your mobile device, and make a list of the things you are grateful for.

Have a wonderful, positive and productive day!

  • Take A Thank-You Walk

Tip of the day on Being More Positive with a verse form Al-Quran:

    Day 1: Take A Thank-You Walk

Allah s.w.t. says in Surah Ibrahim, verse 7:

“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’ ” (7)

It’s simple, it’s powerful, and it’s a great way to start feeding your innerself with positivity.

    How does it work?
You simply take a walk… outside or in your office or anywhere and think about all the things, big and small that you are grateful for.

Research shows you can’t be stressed and thankful at the same time. So when you combine gratitude and with physical exercise, you give yourself a double boost of positive energy. You flood your brain and body with positive emotions and natural antidepressants that uplift you rather than the stress hormones that drain your energy.

So go ahead and Take A Thank-You Walk. You can do this everyday!

In the verse above Allah teaches us: The more grateful we are, the more abundance He will bless us!

Have a more positive day filled with kindness!
