It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

As of today you’ve learned 37 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 3625 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!
*A SERVANT IS CLOSEST TO ALLAH*
Today’s HFW invites us to revisit our relationship with Allah s.w.t. Naturally, as humans, we value freedom and dislike servanthood. However, BEYOND natural is, understanding our position in the eyes of Allah. And consciously choosing to be HIS servant.
In understanding this concept it is essential that we first understand the concept “POSITION DEFINES FUNCTION”. How we position ourselves towards others determines our relationship with them, and how we treat or deal with others is a reflection of how we see ourselves.
Today’s HFW is (عَبْد), which means “SERVANT” or “SLAVE”. If we read the pages of the Quran closely we will see that a SERVANT is the most DEAREST position for man in the eyes of Allah. It is used in special verses. The following verse talks about the most miraculous thing ever happened in history of mankind – Isra’ and Mi’raj.
Your 37th High Frequency Word of the Quran:
Aspire list of HFW Number: #64
عَبْد

Meaning: servant/slave
Meaning in Malay: hamba

Surah Al-Isra’, Verse 1 (17:1), Allah says:
“Exalted is He who took His SERVANT by night from al-Masjid al-haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing. “
As believers, we believe that Isra’ and Mi’raj is one of the most miraculous event ever happened to the most special person to mankind. Rasulullah s.a.w. rahmatan lil ‘aalamin.
In narrating that event, Allah didn’t refer to Rasulullah s.a.w. as His Messenger, or His Prophet, or His Habib, but Allah refers to him as His servant! MasyaAllah this means that this special event happened to this special man because of his choice to concsciously choose to be the servant of Allah s.w.t.!
To be a servant of Allah is to be a special person in the eyes of Allah s.w.t. when we consciously welcome our position as Allah’s servant in realilty we are accepting the best position and closest position ever offerec to any creations. Alhamdulillahi robbil aa’lamiin.
Rasulullah s.a.w. taught us: “The closest a servant is to Allah is when he is prostrating”. So enjoy your sujuud in Solah dear friend, don’t rush it.
