High Frequency Word of The Quran #79: عَلِيْم

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 21 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (جَنَّة) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 105 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 22 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1916 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is teach us about Allah! A good thing to learn and teach our family about, so that we can always feel His presence and love.

Allah s.w.t. is all-knowing, HE knows everything, HE knows our condition, the situation that we are in, what we are going through. HE knows, our history, and what’s best for us in the future. Allah is all-knowing and HE knows everything.

WE can’t hide from HIM, and we don’t have to. Allah knows everything and HE understands everything, and HE is always here for us. When we are sad, or disappointed, remember Allah and remember, HE knows we are trying our best and HُE has the best reward prepared waiting for us.

Your 22nd High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #79

    عَلِيْم

    Transliteration: ‘aleem

    Meaning: All-Knowing

    Meaning in Malay: Maha Mengetahui

Frequency in the Quran: 106 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 29 (2:29)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Mulk, Verse 13 (67:13)

Today’s HFW is (عَلِيْم) which means “all-knowing”. When we are in trouble, or are facing a problem and we talk to someone, they may know what we are going through, or they may not, sometimes talking to someone brings more sorrow, sometimes it make things worst, because they don’t understand, because they don’t know. That’s when we must understand and learn to practice talking to Allah s.w.t. for HE is all-knowing and HE knows what’s best for us.

    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 29 (2:29), Allah says:

“It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.”

     2_29

Allah is the creator, our creator and everything else that exist. He completes us. He is All-Knowing and He knows everything, because of that we should listen to HIM abide by His words and observe them. It is with Allah that we will find success in this world and the hereafter. With Allah we become more complete.

Today I pray for you and your family success and harmony in this life and hereafter. Ameen.

High Frequency Word of The Quran #80: جَنَّة

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 20 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (حَتَّى). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 96 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 21 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1811 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is wonderful!

HEAVEN is Allah’s promise for the believers. In this world they believe in Allah and His words, and they model after Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. life, working hard to spread the words of Allah to their generation and the next. For this hardwork Allah reward them with HEAVEN. In it they get everything that they ever dream of.

Rasulullah s.a.w. said: The wonderous rewards in Jannah, none have ever laid eyes on, or heard of, or even came across the anyone’s mind .

Your 21st High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #80

    جَنَّة

    Transliteration: Jannah

    Meaning: Heaven/Paradise

    Meaning in Malay: Syurga

Frequency in the Quran: 96 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 25 (2:25)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Bayyinah, Verse 1 (98:8)

Today’s HFW is (جَنَّة) which means “HEAVEN/PARADISE”. “HEAVEN/PARADISE” is a reward from Allah s.w.t. for us. To get it, we have to earn it. Actually “HEAVEN/PARADISE” IS FOR US. When Allah created our father Prophet Adam a.s. HE placed him in JANNAH. Our life and deeds in this world are means to show that we want and accept that which is already given. JANNAH is definitely a wonderful reward for the believers. Their patience and harwork is momentary, but their reward is ETERNAL.

We remind ourselves of JANNAH as means to motivate ourselves, to encourage our spirits that this life is worth living when we live it FOR HEREAFTER. In the following verse Allah s.w.t. encourage us to motivate ourselves AND others with JANNAH and its REWARDS:

    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 25 (2:25), Allah says:

“And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, “This is what we were provided with before.” And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.”

    2_25

JANNAH is real and the rewards Allah s.w.t. promised is real, it’s better than of this world and its eternal. A good trade is to sell something of lesser value for that which is far better. To sell of this short life for eternal great reward FROM Allah is THE GREATEST TRADE EVER. All this is when we are starting the journey, once we understood the journey what we want is to RUN to Allah.

High Frequency Word of The Quran #81: حَتَّى

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 19 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (هَلْ). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 95 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 20 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1715 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is good to learn but sumtimes not good to apply.

The reason to this is, in general it is not good to delay, it’s bad to delay good things, and if we can’t stop bad habits, it’s good to delay them.

Your 20th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #81

    حَتَّى

    Transliteration: Hatta

    Meaning: until

    Meaning in Malay: sehinggalah/sampailah

Frequency in the Quran: 95 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 55 (2:55)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Bayyinah, Verse 1 (98:1)

Today’s HFW is (حتى) which means “UNTIL”. We use “UNTIL” to delay things, and put a condition to it. To delay is a bad habit. If we can chip it away, it will take us closer to success. To keep it is to expect doom. Look at the following verse:

    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 55 (2:55), Allah says:

” And [recall] when you said, “O Moses, we will never believe you UNTIL we see Allah outright”; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on. “

    2_55

In general to believe is good, and to delay the command of Allah is to invite destruction. They will say, it’s not that we don’t want to believe, if we had saw Allah then we would’ve believe, this is an example of “mind tricks”. Learn it, but don’t use it. When your heart intends to do something good don’t delay, don’t use UNTIL, or put any condition to it, coz you don’t know, whether the next second is FOR you or AGAINST you.

Observe your mind when you use the word until, ensure that when you use it, it benefits, you, and doesn’t put you at loss.

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #82: هَلْ

High Frequency Word of The Quran #82: هَلْ

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 18 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (قَوْل). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 93 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 19 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1620 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Today’s HFW of The Quran is quite challenging to explain.

But I will still try my very best to share since it comes with great wisdom. Al-Quran is Source of True Guidance for believers. And there are a lot of mental processes and strategies to influence our own thoughts and emotions.

Your 19th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #82

    هَلْ

    Transliteration: Hal

    Meaning: Do? Does? Will? Shall?

    Meaning in Malay: Adakah?

Frequency in the Quran: 93 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 210 (1:4)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Fajr, Verse 5 (110:5)

Today’s HFW is (هَلْ) which means “does?/do?/will?shall?”. It is used to ask question, sometimes with the intention to interogate or challenge.

    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 210 (2:210), Allah says:

“Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.”

    2_210

Sometimes, or rather most of the times, we need to influence or convince our desire or ego to follow the guidance of Allah. More often, the hardest is to let go of negative habit. One way is to use this word and challenge, will this habit benefit me in the long run? Will it serve my greater purpose? Remove it immediately, bit by bit everyday, by constantly asking yourselves to look for positive habits replacing negative ones.

Otherwise, unmotivated, unchallenged, uninfluenced, we will just wait and wait and before we know it, years have gone by and we are still at the same place. Challenging the self is a good way to influence and motivate it.

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #83: قَوْل

High Frequency Word of The Quran #83: قَوْل

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 17 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (دِيْن). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 92 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 18 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 1527 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Your 18th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #83

    قَوْل

    Transliteration: Qawl

    Meaning: speech/saying

    Meaning in Malay: ucapan/percakapan

Frequency in the Quran: 92 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 59 (2:59)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah At-Tariq, Verse 13 (86:13)

Today’s HFW of The Quran is means “speech/saying”.

The ability to speak is a gift from Allah s.w.t. if it was not for HIM we won’t be able to speak. We relate speech and sayings to intelligence; the intelligence to choose words, and the intelligence to match words for a particular situation.

Today’s HFW is a good reminder for us to NOT take this blessing of Allah for granted. We need to consider the situation first, then we choose our words. Always try to say something good and beneficial to others and the situation. Our beloved Prophet s.a.w. said: “Say good things or be silent (to think of a better things to say)”.

Today’s word is (قَوْل)  which means “speech/saying”. Some students may want to ask: “Then Ustaz, how do we improve our choice of words?” Well as usual there’s no one answer to that kind of question. But we can improve our skills by observing others’ words and modelling after them. So the best words that we know is the words of Allah and Rasulillah, by dedicating some time daily to observe the words of Allah and the words of Rasulullah by listening to them and reading them you will improve yourself.

Surah Fussilat, Verse 33 (41:33), is one of my favorite verses, Allah says:

” And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.”

    41_33

The answer to the above is “NO ONE!”, what that means is that Allah s.w.t. is telling us the best choice of words are the ones leading to Allah s.w.t !

Why? Because Allah s.w.t in is the real success, and His to attain His pleasure is true happiness for us!

Thoughts are words, when we improve our words, we too improve our thoughts. And that will shape a better action and disposition for us, which will make us proud of being MUSLIMS!

Choose a better future by choosing better words! A great day is filled with great words in it!
