    *PATIENCE IS STRENGTH AND WISDOM*

Today’s HFW is famous, almost the whole world know of him! It is the name of the Messenger of Allah sent to bani israel to save them from pharoah!

Today’s HFW is (مُوْسَى) Prophet Musa a.s. he is also famous for conversations with Allah s.w.t. which won him the title of kaleemullah which means “the one who converse with Allah frequently”.

Nabi Musa a.s. is not just any man. He is a Nabi (Prophet of Allah), and not just any Nabi, he is a Rasul (Messenger of Allah), and not just any Rasul, He is an Ulul Azmi (The Possesor of Great Patience).

If you read the verses of the Quran that tells the story of Prophet Musa a.s. you will see that Nabi Musa a.s. is a symbol of strength and wisdom. Indeed to be sent to bani israel and to save them from pharoah needs immense amount of strength and great wisdom which translated into patience.

*ALWAYS PUT ALLAH AT A SPECIAL PLACE*

Today’s HFW of The Quran can be use as a tool to help us grow our imaan and put Allah at a very special place in our heart!

Today’s HFW is (ِدُوْن) which means “besides/other than”. The context of its usage in arabic language is usually to place something or someone special in an exclulsive place. When we believe and acknowledge that Allah s.w.t. is special and we put Him at a special place in our heart, we will discover that we have a special relationship with Allah. And that special relationship will give birth to a special treatment.

This verse teach us believers that we must put Allah s.w.t. at a special place because HE is Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, if something bad is happening no one can save us other than Allah s.w.t., only the shafaat (intercession) of Allah s.w.t. is the best to save us and as such we must put Allah s.w.t. at a special place in our heart, and develop a special relationship with HIM.

On this blessed Friday on the month of Rajab i pray that Allah bless all of us with hidayah to grow our relationship with Allah s.w.t. Ameen.

*BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND?*

Today’s HFW is  a great word. When muslims understand this word and apply it in the Quran they create a great civilization for humanity.

It also give us a sense of direction and a clear objective in the things we do.

Today’s HFW is (الأَخِرَة), which means “HEREAFTER”. When making important choices and great decisions great men always remind themselves of hereafter. The reason is because this is life limited, eveything will reach its end. Goodness will reach its end and pain will reach its end. Great men make their decisions by having the akhirah (hereafter) in their minds because the goodness and blessings in akhirah is eternal and everlasting, and that is better. These men are companions of Rasulullah s.a.w. and they were taught by the Prophet himself.

As believers we believe that what Allah has in store for us in Jannah is unimaginable, the infinite bounties and eternal blessings is wonderous! And therefore as believers we always always link what we do today in this life with our akhirah, and have it in mind when we need to make great decisions and important choices!

Rasulullah s.a.w. mentioned the blessings in jannah (paradise) none have ever laid eyes on, none have ever heard, nor imagined by any mind.

Today’s HFW is a simple one. We use it often when we look forward to a better condition and situation in future.

It can also be a tool to quickly compose ourselves when we realize we are in a challenging or tricky situation.

Today’s HFW is (بَعْد), which means “AFTER”. If you find you yourself in an uncomfortable situation, be it financially, physically, or emtoionally, remember that if we choose to spend the difficult NOW with Allah, by returning to HIM, InsyaAllah the AFTER, will always be BETTER!.

*A GOOD HEART IS A GREAT BLESSING*

Today’s HFW is a word which I am sure most of you are familiar with. It’s in us, and part of us, physically and spiritually.

Rasulullah s.aw. taught us that if the heart is good, every part of the body is good, if it is not it will effect the others.

Today’s HFW is (قَلْب), which means “HEART”. Through the pages of the Quran Allah s.w.t. encourage us to focus on our hearts. Eventhough doctors and nutritionists tell the same, they are only focusing on the physical aspect of health. But Allah s.w.t. is stressing on its spiritual and also physical state. To observe the spiritual state of the heart is to observe its internal communication while doing ibadah (worship) and outside of ibadah.

The original state of the servants’ heart should be filled with gratitude and love for Allah. And the completeness of it is full of TAQWA. Rasulullah s.a.w. pointed to his heart 3 times in a hadith saying that the place of TAQWA is here (pointing to his heart).

” The Day (of Judgment) Wealth will not benefit nor will children. Except he who comes to Allah with a GOOD HEART”

    26_88

     26_89

As believers, we believe in the day of judgment. We know that all of us will return to Allah. And in this verse Allah guides us that the best of people who returns to Allah is he or she with a good heart. Therefore, although some are blessed with great wealth and some with good children everyone has equal potential to be blessed with a GOOD HEART and it is a GREAT BLESSING!

A GOOD HEART in the office, fills it with HAPPINESS,

A GOOD HEART at home, fills it with LOVE,
