High Frequency Word of The Quran #54: خَيْر

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 46 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (إِلَه) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 148 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 47 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 5013 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

    *WISDOM IS GOODNESS*

Today’s HFW is something that is seek by all, all the time.

Our spirit yearns for goodness. And as such we wake up seeking for goodness in the morning, and at night we retire thinking about the goodness we have earned and hoping for more of goodness tomorrow.

Today’s HFW is (خَيْر) which means “Goodness”. A believer who is connected to Allah is always conscious of HIS presence, and is connected with other servants of Allah. While he or she seeks for goodness, he is reminded that others too seek goodness. As such he or she will not seek goodness at the expense of others not getting theirs, on the contrary he or she will try to seek goodness in others finding theirs, and for this to happen at a constant basis we all need WISDOM.

As believers we believe that Islaam is full of wisdom.

Your 47th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #54

    خَيْر

    Transliteration: khair

    Meaning: goodness/ better than

    Meaning in Malay: kebaikan

Frequency in the Quran: 148 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 54 (2:54)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Adiyaat, Verse 8 (100:8)

    In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 269 (2:269):

“He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.”

    2_269

Allah s.w.t. is wise and all-knowing, and as such HE has bestowed true wisdom in Islam, it is up to us to seek it and apply it.

Rasulullah s.a.w. said: “Whoever whom Allah wills goodness for him, HE shall make him understand religion (Islam).

As believers we seek goodness by helping others achieving theirs, and we can fulfill that when we understand the hikmah, or wisdom behind our religion, and it starts with learning our own religion, practising and sharing it with others around us 

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 45 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (نَار) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 147 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 46 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 4865 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

*TO REALLY EXPERIENCE LIFE IS TO GROW YOUR IMAAN (FAITH AND SPIRITUALITY)*

Today’s HFW reminds us of Allah s.w.t., the greatness and magnificence of Allah s.w.t. in every situation, all the time.

As the servant of Allah s.w.t. our true and real value is our position in the eyes of Allah. How do we position ourselves as his servant in every situation, all the time. We position oursleves as servant the moment we place Allah at the most special place in our heart, following his commandments and keeping away from the things he forbids with pure love for HIM azza wa jalla.

Today’s HFW is (إِلَه) which means “God”. There is only One God; Allah. He don’t need us, but we need HIM. His existence does not depend on us, but our existence depends on HIM. He don’t need our ‘ibadah but we need perform our ‘ibadah to remain close to him, develop our imaan, grow our spirituality, so that we can experience the best of life in this life and here after.

If we do not focus on developing our imaan and growing our spirituality, it will not effect Allah in any way, we are the ones who are at loss, because by allowing that to happen we refuse to be protected by Allah, and there’s no protection other than the protection of Allah s.w.t.

Your 46th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #55

    إِلَه

    Transliteration: ilaah

    Meaning: god / deity

    Meaning in Malay: tuhan

Frequency in the Quran: 147 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 133 (2:133)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah An-Naas, Verse 3 (114:3)

    In Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 163 (2:163):

” And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. “

    2_163

Allah s.w.t. is most merciful and most gracious all the time, in any situation. It is us that sometimes disallows Allah’s mercy by not following his commandments and doing what HE told us not to do, and that happens because of spiritual immaturity.

Because of that, remember, the way to improve our quality of life is by focusing our attention on spiritual maturity by developing our imaan by increasing our ibadah. And we embark on this journey not individually but with our family, friends and colleague! InsyaAllah the journey will be merrier with more! 

    *Hell is Real*

Today’s HFW reminds us of the hereafter, the fate of those who take advantage of Allah’s Mercy and Compassion and refuse to heed Allah’s warnings.

Today’s HFW is (نَار) which means “FIRE / HELLFIRE”. In this life fire is source of light and energy. Fire guide us to see at night and provides energy to accomplish our task, it is a ni’mah in this world and if we show gratitude and are thankful Allah will bless us with abundance.

But if we are not thankful and take advantage of Allah’s mercy and compassion in this world remember hellfire is the place of eternal return for those who are not grateful.

Your 45th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #56

    Transliteration: naar

    Meaning: FIRE / HELLFIRE

Meaning in Malay: API / API NERAKA

     2_257 (1)

The fire we see in this world reminds us of the Hellfire in the next. It is real more real there than it is real here, and 1000 times hotter. May Allah save us, our family and humanity from hellfire.

Because of that remember, SINS are real too, SINS create environment of hellfire in hereafter. Therefore grow your imaan, develop your spiritual maturity. To grow your imaan abide by the command of Allah s.w.t. and model after the life of Rasulullah s.a.w.

    *ONLY ALLAH*

Today’s HFW is (غَيْر) which means “OTHER THAN”. Only remembering Allah will keep you calm and at ease. When we lost someone special we focus on our lost. But it’s not about us, it’s about honoring them. Honoring what they have lived for and for that we honor them by placing them in the best of our memories.

In the Quran, OTHER THAN can be used to help focus on something by distracting our attention AWAY FROM what we don’t want. Example in surah Al-Fatihah; a way OTHER THAN the way of those who have invited anger, and not of those who are lost.

Your 44th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Only Allah deserves the best and special place in our heart. And special people are special because they remind us of Allah s.w.t.

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 42 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (مُوْسَى) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 136 times in the Quran. *ALWAYS PROVIDE OPTIONS TO YOURSELF*

Today’s HFW is a good tool to use to provide ourselves with options. Especially when we are experiencing a negative state, always provide yourself with options by telling yourself you have A CHOICE!

Today’s HFW is (أم) which means “or”. When we are in a negative state we feel that it is “natural” to allow ourselve to react negatively, but if we are wise we can remind ourselves that there is always options: 1- To do something negative OR 2- To do something positive OR 3- To do nothing neutral until we are conscious of the better choice.

When we are in a positive state, theres always options to be thankful or to forget, choose to be thankful. When we are in a negative state theres always options to be patient or to be angry or sad, choose to be patient. Choose to be with Allah.

Your 43rd High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #58

    أَمْ

    Transliteration: am

    Meaning: or

    Meaning in Malay: atau

Frequency in the Quran: 136 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 6 (2:6)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah An-Naazi’at, Verse 27 (79:27)

    Surah At-Taubah, Verse 109 (9:109):

“Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better OR (ْأَم) one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”

    9_109

When your mind tells you to do something negative always tell yourself you have a choice by using the word “OR”. Example: “Let’s pray later.” Immidiately continue with OR, “OR, I can pray now and show Allah that I really appreciate HIM, and I am consistent to stay in my position” .

When we accept the position as the servant of Allah, the world will always give an option for us to malperform. Choose to be consistent, it is always the best option in the long run.
