High Frequency Word of The Quran #70: إِن

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 30 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (رَحْمَة). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 114 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 31 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 2883 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

*TO NEGATE IS THE BEGINNING OF FOCUS*

I love the previous HFW and the one before it, it really helps me zoom in to that which matters the most; Allah s.w.t Ar-Raheem and His Rahmah.

Today’s HFW will teach us about the process of FOCUS. To focus means, to zoom-in your attention to just one thing and amplify it.

The linguistic process for that to take place is to negate. To negate things that doesn’t matter. The more things we allow to distract us, the lesser focus we are. The lesser things we allow to distract us, the more focus we are. That’s the formula for focus.

Today’s HFW is (ْإِن), which means NOT.  When you know how to use this word efficiently, It will help you to focus better on what really matter to you. If what you want is to get well, focus on health and being happy, think about the things that you will do with your loved ones when you are healthy and happy. Focus your thought on that. The people around you deserve your company, and you health and happiness will bring happiness to them, and they deserve that, and you deserve to see them happy.

Focus your though on that, and don’t think about anything else. If there’s any thought that comes to mind that disturbs that focus, just say this does not matter, and return your focus back to that which matters.

As believers and servants of Allah s.w.t. we believe that Allah is our focus, our qiblah and our center. That doesn’t mean you don’t have dream, and hope. It means that whatever is your hope Allah will help you get there, whatever is your dream Allah will facilitate your journey to reach there. The word of Allah is the best app to help us FOCUS HIM.

Today, when we pray for ourselves, and for others, remember to focus our thought on things that matter! And negate everything else that doesn’t matter. When anything that doesn’t matter come to mind, tell them off that you don’t matter.

Rasulullah s.a.w. said: “Ask from Allah when you are in a state of conviction of HIS answer to you.”

Observe your thoughts and only allow it to focus things that matter. Don’t waste your precious time by thinking about things that doesn’t.

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 29 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (رَحِيْم). The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 114 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 30 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 2769 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

*WE ARE ALWAYS IN HIS MERCY*

The previous HFW reminds us that Allah chose to be loving, gracious, compassionate and merciful towards us. Allah s.w.t. loves us and gave us a lot of things that we forgot to ask from HIM.

As parents, even if your child didn’t ask to send for education, or even refuse to go to school, will you still send her/him? You will rite? Because education shapes a BETTER FUTURE. And because of your love for them, you want them to have a better future, far better than your present rite? Through education and you provide them with GROWTH and hopefully a BETTER  FUTURE.

How then Allah s.w.t. show HIS love and grow us? Yes, you’re right, with trials and tribulations he grow us to be stronger and wiser. What we need to believe is that, Allah is ever so loving, gracious, compassionate, and merciful.

Today’s HFW is (رَحْمَة), which means love, and grace, and compassion, and mercy combined altogether. Because Allah s.w.t. chose Rahmah above everything else for us, we are very, very, fortunate and happy to be servants of Allah.

As believers and servants of Allah s.w.t. we believe that nothing can take us away from Allah’s rahmah, unless we choose to by our actions, that we don’t believe in HIS rahmah, or by denying it. When we are facing trials and tribulations, we are still in Allah’s rahmah. Allah love us and he want us to grow spiritually and experience spiritual maturity, a state where the spirit feels at peace and harmony in every situation.

So when we are facing difficulties, or hardships, remember that the situation can never take you away from Allah’s rahmah but your state of not believing in His Rahmah may. Allah chose, to keep us in his rahmah.

Maybe it’s useful to remind of what Rasulullah said about test.

Rasulullah s.a.w. said: When Allah s.w.t. love a servant HE tests him.” This does not equal to suffering, suffering is the absence of Allah’s love and it happens when we do not observe the presence of Allah’s love. Trials and tribulations are GROWTH, and GROWTH is beautiful when witnessed with PRESENCE of TRUE EVERLASTING LOVE.

Observe and Take Notice the Presence of Allah’s love in everyone, everything and every situation and you will witness it within you.

High Frequency Word of The Quran #72: رَحِيْم

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 28 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (أَجْر) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 113 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 29 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 2655 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Last night, at our Quran MasterClass we discussed about some important things to grow our imaan and develop our relationship with Allah s.w.t., below are some:

1- To Observe, or Take Notice of our internal communication pattern, and observe, or take notice of Allah’s LOVE and PRESENCE in every situation that we are in.

2- To develop a harmonious environment around us, we must first develop an integrated environment within us, only then will we manifest consistency which will influence those around us and create a harmonious environment.

*OBSERVE THE PRESENCE OF HIS LOVE*

Disappointment is to seek love in someone or something which is NOT everlasting and actually finding it. This happens because we don’t take notice the presence of Allah’s love in everything, everyone, and every situation. So we start seeking for a substitute.

Today’s HFW is (رَحِيْم) which popularly means “the Most Merciful”. Based on my research and practice, the meaning which I think more accurate is “The One With Real, and Everlasting Love”. Allah s.w.t. is real, and He is everlasting, HIS love is both true and permanent. You may want to check out my blog post which discuss this word, Ustaz Nouman Ali Khan also has the same opinion you can check it our here: https://aspireinstitute.com/2013/09/09/tafsir-notes-from-rediscovering-the-fatehah-by-ustaz-nouman-ali-khan-part-1/ .

As believers and servants of Allah s.w.t. we believe in the Trueness of Allah’s love and that HIS is everlasting. This belief when it is strong and real will translate into actions which will be rewarded by Allah s.w.t. not only in the hereafter but also in this life.

When we receive Allah’s love, we will feel peace and harmony within. In this life we will face some problems and tribulations, but those are not equal to the absence of Allah’s love, in fact that becomes prove and evidence of Allah’s love when we face those trials in state of peace and calm.

Your 29th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #72

    رَحِيْم

    Transliteration: raheem

Meaning: The One With Real and Everlasting Love

    Meaning in Malay: Maha Penyayang

Frequency in the Quran: 113 times (Not counting all other basmalah)

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 1 (1:1)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Muzammil, Verse 20 (73:20)

    Surah Al-Fatihah, Verse 1 (1:1), Allah says:

” In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. “

    1_1

Allah introduce himself as Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Rahiim. In this world, Allah shows His Love to everyone, there are those who believe in it and in time witness it, but there are also those who refuse to believe in it. Those who refuse to believe in it will take advantage, and in the hereafter they will be at loss and regret. Those who believe in it will put more effort to the best of their ability and they will succeed and be victorious in this life and hereafter. May we be amongst them ameen!

High Frequency Word of The Quran #73: أَجْر

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 27 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (أَجْر) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 106 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 28 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 2542 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Monday is the start of the week. Sometimes it’s very hard to start the week, especially when we think we don’t get enough. Not enough rest, not enough reward, not enough love, and especially when we don’t understand why are we here, or at work?

     *Look Forward For The Reward*

When it’s very hard, or when it’s difficult to continue, look foward for the reward. Today’s HFW is (أَجْر) which means “reward”. As a Muslim and Muslimah, Allah s.w.t. rewards us with every good deed with 10 hasanaat (merits), He also rewards us with our good intention, the intention to fulfill a good deed and and the intention to continue a good deed also gets a reward from Allah s.w.t.

As believers we are indeed blessed, not only do we get rewards from Allah just by intending and doing good deeds, we also get rewards from Allah s.w.t. by not doing! By not doing a bad deed, when we stop ourselves from doing a bad deed we also get reward from Allah s.w.t.!

Some may ask: “Ustaz, what if we can’t stop ourselves?”

My answer to that is: “DELAY doing the it”

REWARD is nothing like we ever imagined, but if we visualize it will be source of motivation for us to start our week and continue our good deeds.

You know what is the best motivation?

    “LOVE”

Believe that Allah loves us and it will be a strong motivation for us to excel!

Your 28th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #73

    أَجْر

    Transliteration: ajr

    Meaning: reward

    Meaning in Malay: ganjaran

Frequency in the Quran: 105 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 62 (2:62)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah At-Tiin, Verse 6 (95:6)
    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 112 (2:112), Allah says:

” Yes! [on the contrary], whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his REWARD with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve “

    2_112

Rasulullah s.a.w. said the meaning of which is that: “Actions (and its rewards) are by intention”.

InsyaAllah when we focus our intention and action towards goodness Allah s.w.t. will REWARD us with things we never even imagined before! Allah s.w.t. is great, his reward is great, in hereafter and in this life! And we shall not experience any fear nor grieve!

Start and continue your good deed by looking forward to Allah’s reward in mind! Start living with the Quran!

  • High Frequency Word of The Quran #74: ظَالِم

High Frequency Word of The Quran #74: ظَالِم

    BismillahirRahmanirRahim.

    Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Dear student of the Noble Quran,

It gives me great pleasure to share with you High Frequency Words from the Quran and its wisdom everyday.

Previously you’ve learned 26 High Frequency Words from the Quran, yesterday’s HFW being (عِلْم) . The HFW you will learn today is repeated for 105 times in the Quran. As of today you’ve learned 27 words from the Quran. Collectively these words are being used for 2436 times in the Quran! MasyaAllah! Let’s continue reading!

Yesterday’s HFW was very very important, it saves us from ignorance, and knowledge protects from doing the wrong thing, which is to place things in a wrong place.

Without knowledge we are ignorant, and with ignorance we place things not in its rightful position, thus transgression takes place.

Today’s HFW is (ظَالِم) which means “WRONGDOER”. Wrongdoer did the wrong thing because of not having the knowledge, because he forgot, or it was a mistake. The worst is not wanting to change because of EGO, so he keep on doing the wrong thing again and again.

We are fortunate because Allah s.w.t is never zalim towards his servants. In fact Allah s.w.t. is always forgiving towards his zalim servants, what they need to do is simply change themselves, and seek knowledge that can save them from doing the same wrong thing again. And Allah will them place them back in HIS mercy.

Your 27th High Frequency Word of the Quran:

Aspire list of HFW Number: #74

    ظَالِم

    Transliteration: zalim

    Meaning: Wrongdoer

Meaning in Malay: orang yang zalim

Frequency in the Quran: 105 times

First Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 35 (2:35)

Last Mention in Quran: Surah Al-Insaan, Verse 31 (76:31)

    Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 35 (2:35), Allah says:

” And We said, “O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers.”

    2_35 (1)

Rasulullah s.a.w. said the meaning of which is that: “Every children of Adam a.s. is a wrongdoer, and the BEST of the wrondoers are those who repent (those who return to Allah and become better)”.

The word of repentance is istighfar, and the first action of repentance is BEING CONSCIOUS OF ALLAH and TRANSFORMING THE SELF TO THAT WHICH IS BETTER!

Do something great today! Start living with the Quran! Get closer and closer to Allah!

I pray that Allah will protect you from wrongdoers and open wide door of repentance for all of us ameen!
